Staff
Geri Powder, MA, LDTC, Diagnostic and Remedial Services, is a certified learning disabilities specialist. She holds a masters degree in special education and a post-masters certification in learning disabilities. Her New Jersey certifications include Teacher of the Handicapped (generic special education) and Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (learning specialist and Child Study Team member). She is a learning specialist in Bergen County and an Adjunct Professor/Mentor in Project Excel (a mentoring program for learning disabled college students) at Kean University. She also holds certifications in Elementary Education and Supervision and Administration.
